About Us
El Pangue originated in 1987 as the dream of a young couple of settlers from the central valley of Chile. This family formed by Heidi and Ramiro, together with their four children, Andrés, Cristián, Javiera and Sebastián, overcame great hardships due to the immense isolation of the region during this time.
Settlers
With their children studying at boarding schools in Puerto Montt, they began, with limited resources, the difficult task of making El Pangue a place to rest and submerge oneself in the pristine natural surroundings, blending the experience of nature with the warm hospitality that is characteristic of the inhabitants of the South of Chile. |

Over 20 years in business have given us a good deal of experience in outdoor activities including fly-fishing, horseback riding, trekking adventures and white water sports.
