El Pangue offers horseback outings as part of its extensive list of activities, as a different way to experience the stunning surroundings of the lodge. This alternative allows you to enjoy the incredible scenery from a unique vantage point: your saddle.
Riding Options
Riding Excursion within the estate + Lunch
The excursion begins at the Lodge, and takes you through virgin forests and agricultural pastures, ending at a spot called ‘Los Ciervos’. This place is located half way up one of the surrounding hills, and provides some lovely views of the Risopatrón Valley.

Equipment: Water bottle, waterproof coat and hat in case of rain.

María Magdalena Estate:
This outing follows the Risopatrón River until it joins the Palena River. María Madgdalena Estate is a rich exuberant setting, rich in local flora and fauna. At midday, a traditional Patagonian roast is prepared, after which visitors have the option of continuing on the excursion or visiting some natural hot springs.
