Lago Verde
Located on the Argentinian border, 60 km (37 Mi) from El Pangue, the town of Lago Verde is halfway between the valdivian rainforest and the Pampa or steppes of Argentina. Its vast plains of pastures make it an ideal location for cattle farming, the main economic activity of the locals. There are some interesting tourist activities such as fly-fishing and horseback riding across the plains.
