Queulat National Park

Queulat National Park has a surface of 154,093 hectares, and is the lodge’s only neighbour.

Covered in dense valdivian temperate rainforest, it holds huge extensions of unchartered land, completely untouched by the hand of man. Many areas of the park remain, to this day, unexplored.

Amongst its most notable attractions are the Hanging Drift, Lake Risopatrón, the Puma Lagoon and the Bordali Glacier.

Hanging Drift (Ventisquero Colgante)

Located in the Queulat National Park, this glacier is one of the tourism landmarks of Aysen. Hanging above a ravine of bare rock, it dominates a valley formed by mountains covered in valdivian temperate rainforest, and feeds a river at the bottom of the valley as it melts.

There are 4 well trodden trails that allow visitors to roam the area surrounding the drift.

Queulat Fiord (Fiordo Queulat)

The Queulat Fiord is originates from the Jacaf canal, as does the Puyuhuapi Fiord. Due to its outstanding natural beauty and majestic scenery, this is the ultimate kayaking experience.
